Her core expertise lies in banking & finance and project finance transactions in the renewable energy sector which includes corporate and project due diligence, land due diligence, legal documentation for financing and security creation, down selling or assignment and novation of debt, issuance of closing opinion on enforceability of financing documents, finalization of structure considering the co-obligors, opinion on the status of the projects as group captive, coordination and negotiations with the foreign legal counsel, providing advisory in obtaining various approval/ permission including Authorized Bank’s approval for pledge by foreign entity.
She is actively involved in providing advisory to the borrowers as their legal counsel for availing financial assistance from banks/PSUs/ financial institutions.
She excels in handling complex structured transactions, leveraging her expertise to navigate intricate deal structures and deliver high-quality solutions.
She is also adept in handling the general corporate transactions and vetting legal documents for clients.
She has also handled transactions related to the real estate funding including corporate due diligence, loan documents, debenture documents and security/financing documents. She has assisted in the capital market transactions and has been part of public issues of tax-free bonds for National Housing Bank, India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited, IFCI Limited and NHPC Limited.
In addition, she was also part of the team advising South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Development Fund (SDF), on the legal framework and loan documentation for its lending operations of SDF under its Economic and Infrastructure Window for each of its members.
She assists clients such as Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), REC Limited (REC), National Housing Bank (NHB) India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC), India Infradebt, Tata Capital Limited, Kotak India Infradebt and PTC Financial Services Limited (PFS) on their projects and project financing transactions as their legal counsel.
In addition to above, she also advises various borrowers as their counsel for availing financial assistance from banks/PSUs/financial institutions, wherein she reviewed, vetted and negotiated the financing documents with the lenders and their respective legal counsels and provided advisory in the matters pertaining to structuring transaction and documents of foreign promoter/sponsors.
