This World Environment Day 2026, Dhir and Dhir Associates continues to lead in the ESG sector by fostering awareness among young environmentalists, nature lovers, and aspiring professionals through the 6th Edition of India’s first-ever 24-hour Research Lab on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues. Centred on creating compilations of emerging global initiatives for environmental conservation and restoration, the Virtual Legal Marathon showcases the varied laws and their impacts across different jurisdictions worldwide.

The previous edition saw significant engagement, with over 700 registrations from more than 100 law schools and related institutions. After a careful review of student profiles, approximately 100 students were selected to participate in the 24-hour marathon, with 30 winners recognized for their outstanding research submissions. These participants gained considerable attention, developed a strong commitment to delivering results, and earned recognition through certificates of achievement and co-authorship opportunities with the dynamic ESG team at Dhir & Dhir Associates. Winners also received an annual subscription to Lex Witness—India’s First Magazine on Legal and Corporate Affairs, as part of our flagship thought leadership initiative, the Planet People Program (PPP).
