Varsha Banerjee is a Partner in Dhir & Dhir’s litigation practice. She has more than 16 years post-qualification experience in dispute resolution and litigation. She specialises in insolvency and bankruptcy laws, shareholder disputes, securitisation and commercial transactions. She regularly appears and represents parties before various Courts and forums.
She has advised significant number of companies, Banks/Financial Institutions, other creditors, promoters, Resolution Professional, Resolution Applicants and other stakeholders to identify and adopt the most suitable approach to deal with a complex web of possible outcomes and legal strategies to effectively deal with the aspects of corporate insolvency/ personal insolvency and restructuring process.
She is also an active member of ‘INSOL India’ and the ‘International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation’.
Varsha frequently authors articles and has penned down numerous articles in the area of “Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws, Shareholder Disputes, Securitisation and Commercial transactions”, which have been published by many leading legal publications. She is also a regular panellist & appears on various platforms, engaging in insightful discussions on legal issues.
